What is the best way to remove pine sap off painted surfaces and fiberglass roofs?

X2. I've used rubbing alcohol with great success (try to obtain it with the highest alcohol content, something like 90+ percent). The sap dissolves almost instantly and the alcohol doesn't appear to damage the surface.
