Pine Sap Removal

On our Christmas tree farm we use ammonia to clean our shearing knives and equipment. It's cheap and effective.

The best time to clean stuff off a vehicle is near the end of a two day rain. It is surprising what comes off with little effort.

Dynamite works but it is messy.

Sorry, just can't help myself. I have heard mayo, WD 40 but both will leave some residue to clean afterwards.

I was very careful and removed most of the sap from my truck with a single edge razor blade. Then I used alcohol.

Denatured alcohol

I use kerosene, since it is an oil it won't harm the painted or gel coated surface. Just wash it off with car or rv wash when done.

This was asked a few mo back & my answer was ICECUBE just hold it on & will release i have done this on epdm roof sap was abt yr old came right off

were have a daily problem with it just scrap it off
