think it depends on HOW cold it is where you are going to be and HOW much GUARANTEED protection you want. A word of caution on the 'air' method, you do NOT want to exceed the 'break point' of your connections. So if your compressor will go to 120#, set it so you don't exceed about 40 to 50 pounds, so you don't blow out a connection. 40 or 50 will work if you use the 'close then open' method on each outlet area. Then pink in the traps and in 'moderately' cold areas, probably down to about 20 degrees you should be OK. Much colder then you'd be safer to use the ALL pink method. The air method works for me in AZ area but in Colorado I went with the pink and never had a problem.
