- HondavalkExplorer IIIn north west Ohio we are concerned with protecting praire grass and wet lands. Our park systems incourages hiking on our sand dunes. Why you would assume people from different places would know what your talking about seems pretty closed minded and self centered
- AmericalVetteExplorerAfter reading through the posts, I finally figured out what the 'Sand-Dunes' are for. I had no clue what the OP was talking about, because I've never been anywhere near these 'dunes'. Glad I waited about asking as it appears I would have been scolded otherwise.

Maybe he'll take a Mac Woods dune ride - you don't even need your own buggy. And don't forget the noise! But, I just don't go there, live and let live.
really get his blood boiling, tell him about Silver Lake dunes and the sand rails....
Not much walking on the dunes there, so maybe he'd be happy. - hornet28Explorer

X2 - Bionic_ManExplorerIt sounds like someone needs a Snickers.....
- Mortimer_BrewstExplorer IIKeepmotoring, your first post didn't bash anyone, but the subsequent ones sure did. The problem isn't the message. It's the messenger. Your message was overshadowed by your rudeness and insults.

Can't get any more parochial than that.
You people are really nasty. I am talking about the ones in campgrounds, where they are there to protect the campground from flooding from rising waters of the ocean. The picture above looks to be the dunes in Outer banks.
Title just said "sand dunes." Post didn't give any location or reason.

Thank you qtla911. My first post wasn't bashing anyone, just making a statement and even said thank you. Then then "bashers" started. I even said the sand dunes are there to protect and gave the reason why - but some people don't read facts they just need to put there two cents in and not read the posts. Anyway, I want to make sure we all need to leave this earth doing the right thing for the generations after we are dead and gone. If someone isn't for that, what can I say. Enough said
your original post word for word:
With the hurricanes we have had, I just need to get this off my chest. Protect the sand dunes. They are there for a reason. Thank you.
at best you were vague and expected everyone to read your mind. but then most of us are just stupid. - keepmotoringExplorerThank you qtla911. - ScottGNomadOp, I think you need to go back to your own mommy for some remedial toilet training.
You don't play well with others.
