Please Don't Hate Florida

I'll be camping next week in Oscar Scherer SP in Osprey.
I have a beautiful site next to a stream, wooded with a large fire pit surrounded by logs.
While I'm smoking a Cigar having a Cocktail I will not be thinking a change in Seasons would be nice!
Of course I live only 15 minutes away in Sarasota.

I've lived in good climate, and it bores the hell out of me. I like weather rather than climate.

Personally. I like living where we have different seasons.

I don't hate Florida, I just don't like it. That's why I'm in Gold Canyon Arizona. Hiking in the Superstition Mountains at 65-70 degrees can't be beat.

We moved to Tampa Florida in 2002 to get a jump on retirement in 2012. Could only take it for 5 years before we left for good. The weather was great, even the summers didn't bother us at all. It was everything else we didn't like. Beachs got boring to us. Would rather be hiking.

Lot's of people love Florida but it wasn't for us.

I won't. I live in Oregon, voted the #1 state to RV/camp in by Trailer Life magazine readers survey.

Which they won't have to do anymore because we all saw last year that you CAN elect a President without having a count of all the votes in Florida. I think they finally finished counting them several months later during the inauguration speech! :W

Don't hate Florida, but like Hawaii much better. :B

If it's hot, jump in the water. When it's cold it takes you 20 minutes to get dressed to go to the convenience store. I served my time in the cold. No more. Oh yeah, never have to shovel rain.
