Please Don't Hate Florida

I don't hate FL.....just don't like it.
How can one enjoy a state where the highest point is a bridge over the water?

Geeezz I thought everybody loved Florida. LOL

Just proves that one mans paradise is another mans h**l.

We are a diverse group, ain't that great?

I won't hate Florida but I won't live there either. Last week I wore long sleeved Tees and today it'll be about 80 degrees and I can finish painting our new fence. DW is talking about the beach this weekend, or the girls desert place or the snow capped mountains with the DGKs. All within an hour or so. I guess I'll have to put up with being on the left coast. Oh Yeah, we don't have the really high humidity that you might find down your way, but, we do have Disneyland.

well, I don't know if I want to go into that thing about taking clothes off, I have seen pictures of old people in forida with great tans with skin hanging down to their knees and in MHO that is gross. I think they should have to wear clothes in Florida.

The beauty of retirement is doing what you want when you want.
I don't mind snow shoveling at all. It gets me out in the fresh air. If I'm not going anywhere, it can wait.

Well, John Steinbeck can have it. Once I retire on January 1, 2026, that will be the last winter that I see snow, barring some freak winter weather event in Florida.

I don't hate Florida, been there once. Now I don't think enough of it to hate it. But I will have to admit it's probably about the last place I'd ever want to live, okay, it's ahead of New Jersey, but barely. :)

1. Hurricanes. Where did the last big hurricane hit? New Jersey!!

Meh. We are mid to high 60's here again in Palm Springs California. No bugs and low humidity. We did the Florida thing. Not for us.
