I had a "flat" hose that was sort of fabric like, quickly developed leaks at the crease. I also had a semi-flat, oval type sort of the same material as a real hose and that worked just fine. saved a bit of room over a round one.
bumpy - wa8yxmExplorer IIILink was to a video, useless where I'm parked.

I got a pocket hose, used it one time so far... Not terribly impressed but I did perform as advertised. And it did not leak.
Considering I got that flat hose back in my PUP days, and from there spent aboutr a decade (or more) in a "hard side" trailer, and it's been 8 years since I towed that in.. I'd say the flat hose did well. - rvsolutionsExplorerBought one Sunday, took it back today, plastic fittings leak.
- HalmfamilyExplorerBought one last month and have used it several times. Washed the fiver, tractor and truck with no issues. We also use to rinse out the stinky slinky. It shrinks back down to original size and is very light. Bought ours at Walgreens. Travel on. By the way Walgreens has zero gravity chairs on sale this week for $39.99. Bought two and they are comfortable. Great price compared to other places. Travel on.
- KreaseExplorerI bought a 50ft one from Walmart last week. I used it to wash my truck in the driveway this past Saturday. Was the first time I used it, and it's already leaking out the side. I really liked it otherwise. Maybe they need to make a heavy duty one.
- BumpyroadExplorerI thought I saw an ad for the 25 footer that was $4.95 with free shipping.
bumpy - JamesV67ExplorerI bought a Pocket Hose a few months back and really like it so far. It does expand and contract just like it says it will which is nice and it's really light too. I've read some reviews that say it's not very durable, but I haven't had any issues yet myself. Here is a pretty good review with a video demonstration for anyone thinking of buying a Pocket Hose that wants to see it in action: http://www.yourenotstupid.com/pocket-hose-review/

I was hoping to get one to hook up to my black tank flushes.
remember that the report said that unless the hose is kept under pressure, it retracts.

Hmm, I didn't read the report. I didn't think about it retracting... just flattening.
I think my father-in-law bought one, guess I need to play with it before I buy it.
Thanks for the heads up, bumpy.
Ok, just watched it. Seems it can pull a sprinkler around, but I doubt it'll move my camper. :) Hmm, wonder how it fairs after being fully expanded for a few days at a time. - BonefishExplorerWe have a 75 foot one in the camper. I used it to wet the grass around the fire ring since it was dry as a precaution. No fire ban even though there was a camp fire in the park. Kept it handy (pressured up with spray nossel) just in case and used it to put out the coals when finished. Good for spraying off muddy dogs feet, kid toys, etc. Fits in a zip lock bag or a coffee can. Easier and lighter to carry that 75 feet of the other type of hose plus less space. Good addition to the camping stuff we carry. Got it a Wallie World.
