GO GO GO !
Graduations, weddings and new babies will happen with or without you.
Sometime down the road, when you look back on this decision, don't let it be a 'should have, could have, would have' reflection. Every single respondent on this topic has said GO. Start packing. We are going to Alaska this year - leaving May 6.
We know we're missing at least one grandchild graduation,and a wedding - probably more. The sky probably won't fall while we're gone, and if it does, I don't want to be around to see it ! Everyone will be happy to see us when we return, and we'll pick up the graduations, weddings, and babies circuit when we get back.
