I bought a 6HP Nissan gas outboard with my Porta Bote. While I sold the Bote a little over five years ago I still use the Nissan. It will be 11 years old this April. Weight is 55 pounds. I built an outboard motor holder that fits into the stake post in the pickup bed side rail right behind the cab and keeps the motor upright and takes up very little room.
