I got the Weber specifically because it could be converted to hook up to the low pressure outlet on the side of the RV. I've gotten tired of using the 1# bottles, and having them run out of fuel halfway through grilling a chop or steak.
That's good info, and basically what you want to do; get yourself a Weber Q and convert it to low pressure by removing the Q's regulator. About a 5 minute job it you're real slow.
This kit is a newer method and looks pretty slick. I posted a parts list back in 2013 that was this:

Both methods will work just fine.
