- billyboyExplorerwe bought a haier 1.0 cu. ft portable washer from walmart for 199. and built it in under our vanity, works great. I bought a spin dryer and keep it in a outside compartment. it gets out most of the moister left.
- Bob___AnnExplorerWe had the Splendine combo for ten years. We enjoyed having it but as others said it does a pretty good job on small loads. It is a slow process especially the drying process as it is 110 current. We sometimes would only wash and use a drying rack. We now have the Spendine stacked. They are a little bigger and faster but it is not like your machine at the house.
- 3_dog_nightsExplorerBought a Danby for mine. Does the socks and underware fine, a few t shirts, no problem. Spins most of the water out so they are just damp not wet when finished. We do a couple of light loads while on the road, then do the sheets and pillowcases, jeans and towels, when we have access to a laundrymat. Like sitting around the camper watching TV till we're ready then just drop everything in a $0.25 dryer to finish up.
Very Happy with the Danby. (Got at Wally World for $299) - TOMMY47ExplorerSaw an Ezywash Portable Washer at Camping World. About $75.
Small and lightweight. Set it in your tub and it will do small loads.
No drying. Saw some reviews at CW and I think Amazon. They were positive.
If I take another long trip, I'll probably get one since most of my wash is underwear, socks and t-shirts. - Jim_ShoeExplorerMy RV came with a manual one. Its in its own room across from the shower. Its a round bowl with a lid but its not very big. I just fill it about 3/4 full, add a handful of soap powder (the one for cold water washing is best) and 4 or 5 pair of jockey shorts and some socks. To agitate, I use my hamburger spatula. When you go to refill for the rinse, hold on tight to your clothes. I've lost a few items when I didn't, and I've never seen them again.
- calamusExplorerWe have a small one that does wash and dry in the same machine it will do a small load about one set of clothing and a towel. If you have kids go to the laundry mat buy if its just you it would work great. I use our when working on the road.
