I know how I feel about this, but I'd some other feedback.
My family and I are big fans of camping in Maryland State parks. The most you'll find hook-up wise is electric. All loops have several fresh water spigots for you to fill your fresh tank, or jugs, pitchers, water pistols...whatever.
I find that occasionally some folks will run hose from their rig to the spigot and just leave their unit hooked up.
I think its in poor taste, but maybe I'm just a grumpy old man at 40.
Thoughts?
This past March on a trip home from Mesa, AZ we camped at Santa Rosa State Park in New Mexico. Usually I'll make a reservation on these trips to secure a site with electric and water for the trip in both directions. This time I didn't. The only site available had electric but no water. There was a community spigot about 50 feet from the camper. The camp host told me if I had enough hose to reach it and a Y I could install so others could get water if they needed it then I could leave my hose hooked up.
Fortunately I had a Y and about 75feet of hose so we had water w/o filling the fresh water tank.
