Well they SHOULD have told you.
Basically look everywhere Some places they hide things
My converter is as far from the battery as you can get. A basement compartment Rear of RV Driver's side (batteries ar front curb side)
I've seen them in cabmets. under bench seats, Behind block off panels and under the bed or Fridge..
And I'm not an RV service tech so imagine what they have seen.
Wish I could be more precise.. NOTE: MOST converters have a FAN if th FAN is FANING (need not be connected to shore power... JUST HOT) you miay get lucky but alas it's a very quiet fan.
