I thought about putting a new plug on the end of it (the damage is from the middle, out to the plug) - but in cold weather, stuffing this cord back into the "mouse hole" is a real nightmare (pulling it out isn't easy, either); plus using the marine outlet doesn't provide entry for the rotten little critters. I'll just jam steel wool into the old mouse hole.
