Short answer: NO.
The home-made trap in the video might not work depending on the type of wasp involved.
I would suggest an inspection and spraying with ant and spider spray OR house perimeter spray every couple of weeks.
If you never actually find any nesting in/on your stuff, no action is necessary. Check the engine compartment too.
