Preparing to hit the road

Pretty much everything that's been mentioned. Our longest trip was 2 months. We put lamps on timers, turn off water, etc. One of our neighbors has a riding lawn mower and he volunteered to mow the little bit of grass we have. We had the PO send the mail to the local UPS store. We rented a mailbox, had them sort out the advertisements and magazines and had them send it too us about every 2 weeks so we wouldn't miss anything important. Our neighbor agreed to move our cars periodically and our son came over to the house periodically and parked his truck there. We live in a pretty safe area and had no problems.
