Doesn't need to be a complicated scam. Just say "I'm getting a lot of interest, however if you are serious, wire me a $200.00 deposit and I will hold it for you until you can get here to look at it. Get a few people to send deposits the scammer is making some easy money. Heck, they could go through helping you make arrangements to fly in and promise to pick you up at the airport or whatever. Probably would be laughing their hineys off at the bar as they recount the mullet they had on the line. No skin off their teeth. This is just one of the many reasons dealing with unknowns on the internet is risky.
