problem with brake controer

Question

I am having a problem with my brake control. The one under the dash.After several yrs with no problem, the two red lights 0n the brake c stay on and run down the battery. This is after disconnecting the TT. So now I disconnect the controller which is a pain. Do I need a new controller?

Make and model of the controller?How is the controller wired in? Possible that brake actuation input is giving false signal.Have you tried moving the manual brake lever if equipped?Try using compressed air to blow out the controller.
