- EASY_RIDERExplorerI will check the outside guage as I use the lp gas to see if they agree, and will report the report the results.
thanks
Tom - tatestExplorer IIFloat gauge at LPG tank is mechanical, usually inaccurate. Resistance at mechanical gauge drives E -1/3 - -2/3 -F gauge at panel inside. Inside gauge is also dependent on voltage driving it. There is a trimmer on the inside panel to adust circuit to better match the reading of gauge in the tank, but if it is wrong at the tank, that's where it needs to be fixed.
- rvtenExplorerSome time ago. I came across instructions for making adjustment on one model digital Guage.
Maybe look up on internet. - hersheyExplorerHaving an inside gauge that is perceived accurate would be a really nice option. Problem is, gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Usually not so much with a propane gauge but the other liquid gauges are terrible.
With your propane monitoring needs??? Just look at the gauge on the tank itself. Those are usually much more accurate. I never, NEVER rely on any inside the RV gauges.
