When GF & I were looking to buy our 5vr for hitting the road with we researched all the mfgs for several months weeding them down to ones we wanted to actually see/touch
Then we went to a LARGE DEALER that carried the various brands.
Young salesman meet us and asked if he could be of any help. Told him we were 'looking'. So he pointed us in the direction of the 5th wheels and stated just holler if you have any questions then left us to roam and look.
We spent several hours roaming, looking, sitting, poking etc. He came by couple times and inquired if we need anything/had any questions.
Which we didn't
We then got ready to leave and he meet us at showroom again inquired if we needed anything, gave us his card.
Next weekend we came back and same thing.
And the next weekend.....this time we asked for him and had him show us specific units. Asked questions which he 'honestly' answered and if couldn't he went and got an answer which was also correct.
6 months..........2 weekends a month we harangued this guy
Then we decided to buy......but wanted to order.
Meet with him and that dealership no longer sold the NUWA Hitchhiker.
Several guys from that dealership had left, opened a dealership and had rights to NUWA products.
One of the owners had been his immediate boss.
He called him.........placed the order for rig as we wanted it built.
Negotiated price and FAXed contract.
We never even saw new owners/dealership until day we did PDI and picked up 5vr.
Mike did us right and we reciprocated
Went to buy a new car........walked into dealership. Salesman lied when asked questions. Complete total BS.
And then he asked 'What can be done to get you into that car TODAY'
I answered......"A different salesman and a different dealership"
It was in one of those AutoMalls
Went next door..negotiated on a new car. Bought it and then drove back to other dealership. Pulled up and when salesman walked out onto lot I 'honked and WAVED'
