Seen this myself. It tends to come sooner than later, as the good engineers get the boot, manufacturing is sent to the bottom dollar ODM in China, customer service is pared to the bone, and the product just becomes a Harbor Freight or Alibaba rebrand from Shenzhen, bought for $5 bucks, sold for $100.
