- oh_boyExplorerGuess we have been spoiled. Last winter at Par gas in Bushnell Fla., he charged 13.00 for a 30# tank. Bit of a line up though lol. P/U's would pull in from Brooksville with 10-15 tanks in the back on a run.
- belfertExplorerI wish I could find more than one or two places in the Minneapolis that fill by the gallon. All of the gas stations that do have propane charge a flat rate of between $16 and $18 to fill a 20# tank. U-Haul charges by the gallon, but they are sky high. There is one other place that charges by the gallon.

- chiefneonExplorerHowdy!
We just returned to the good old USA from a four month trip in thr Canadian Maritmes (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland). We had our 40# propane tanks filled several times and it cost use $60.00 to fill one 40# tank. Glad to be back, I fill like I got a pay raise yesterday when we crossed the boarder.

my phone doesn't use much gas - bobsallyhExplorer IIIf you are a CW President Club member and in the area, the CW on Las Vegas Blvd. in Sin City (old Wheeler RV) pumps propane on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for $1.99 gal. On Boulder Hiway there is a Circle K that is $2.69. The most I paid all summer was $2.20 at Bozeman, MT. I really like the propane deal in Arizona, if you pump propane, you must post the price per gallon on a sign just like the gas stations. In Yuma I don't think U-Haul even pumps as they couldn't be competitive. During most of Dec, Jan, and some of Feb. the pumper beside us uses two pumpers and they each average about 1100 gallons daily.

Not sure what the $\litre was but an empty 20# is about $11 to fill at Costco.
I've never seen a Costco with Propane at least in the western US states.
The Costco at 12155 Tech Center Dr, Poway, CA 92064 ? has a propane filling station. Cost when it first opened was pretty good, but soon went up to $3, and I have not filled there in a few months now.
They filled by tank weight, not opening the liquid overfill valve, so it did not release propane into the air, or have as much fire danger. They can also fill motorhomes though a separate hose.
Now I live near Portland OR, and local gas stations are running about $2.75 a gallon, some charging $3 per gallon.
I did find a local U-Haul that I actually stopped filling at in Garden Grove years ago, because they would not post the price per gallon on the pumps, but told you after you filled up and went inside to pay. Sometimes the price was good, other times was about $0.50 to $0.75 more after a couple of months between fill ups. So I started filling at the local Mobil station, price posted clearly, and if you bought more than 21 gallons, they gave a 50 cent discount. My RV was only a 17 gallon tank, but with the BBQ tank and my portable 1 gallon tank, normally I could get the discount.
Fred. - noe-placeExplorerGasoline is a little lower than propane in the south right now.
