No gauge I have ever tried has really worked all that well. The magnetic stick on the side of the tank are worthless.
I have a couple these and they are fair, but are inconsistent and change with the changes in outside temperature.
Best of all is to weigh the tanks but this is a pain.
For the trailer, I rely on the auto-change over regulator. When it changes over, I fill the empty tank.
