downtheroad,I do the same on our Hybrid and have the same so-so experience with magnetic indicators.
We mostly intend the propane tank to be used for the furnace so it makes Grandma frown if we run out in the middle of the night :(
Hard to believe it hit the low forties this weekend here in Ky
Thank goodness we had a small electric heater to keep Grandma smiling :) but I hope to do more boon docking so that won't always work.
