Pros and Cons of 1099 versus withholding
Other than the most obvious, what are the pros and cons of 1099 versus the company withholding taxes on a workkamper position?

DH works part time as an independent contractor and is paid with a 1099. Because of this, we carry a separate liability policy and AFLAC. Better safe than sorry. Personal liability (umbrella) policies are really cheap and worth the peace of mind.
