I use a ready brake and the protect a tow isn't long enough to connect to the car. I've had my share of stones, gravel, debris etc. all over the Fit and am now trying it without the rear flap. I have flaps behind the duals and tag and so far I've not noticed any difference. If I can get out of this frozen wilderness one of these days I'll put a few thousand miles on and report on any difference.
