Dinghy front tire wear

Every toad I have had there has been some uneven tire wear on the front tires, especially at the edges. This has occurred regardless of having front end alignments, no slop in tow bar connections, etc. IMO it is due to the slight side-to-side movement of the front of the toad whenever the coach moves and making turns with the coach.

I just do more frequent toad tire rotations and it has never really been an issue of much concern.

I would cheack that your auxilarey brake system isn't set to hi of sensativity and draging the brakes more than it should.

Had same problem with the original good year tires on my 2004 Liberty also the road noise was unbearable from the wear switched over to more of a highway tread and that worked out better although not perfect.

too much toe in, cupping on outside. too much toe out, cupping on the inside. Have front alignment checked.

In Custer SD a MH went buy towing a Jeep Cherokee and you could hear the tires squealing and could see what was wrong as the tires were cocked a little. Took me over a mile to get up to him and let him know of his problem.

That might cause mild flat-spotting or cupping on front tires.....

In Custer SD a MH went buy towing a Jeep Cherokee and you could hear the tires squealing and could see what was wrong as the tires were cocked a little. Took me over a mile to get up to him and let him know of his problem.

I just noticed that my tires are also showing wear on the outside. It looks like when the wheels are forced to turn without the power assist the tires drag before they wheels begin to turn.

That said, I don't see it as a serious issue just a somewhat shortened tire life.

A broken belt in the tire will wear that spot unevenly. If it's towed you won't notice the bumpy ride

I have the same problem with my tires but not so much as to worry to much about it. I think my problem is the tires as they get older I have more uneven wear. I also have had some tire damage when 4 wheeling going over rocks and hitting bumps. When I get new tires all is good till they get worn down a little and beaten up.
I am running BF Goodrich 31x10:50 ATs with can be a bugger to balance too at least from my experience, was thinking about Goodyears since they went to a tri-wall Wrangler but not sure. Just FYI I have towed the Jeep a 1999 about 100,000 miles with only one issue last fall and that was my fault.
I think the biggest thing is to get the tow set up done right in the beginning tow bar level brackets attached to the frame.
