for cellular "voice conversation" the connection with the tower must be maintained for the duration of the call
a tx msg uses a lot less data, and basically is a "data squirt" AKA "upload" to the system and only takes "milli-seconds" of communication time after you press send
and yes verizon uses the voice network for txt, that is what i said
BUT an APP will use the DATA network not the txt/voice carrier wave
a website will use the data Network,
this is not a "data squirt" it is a live connection
txting Help me i'm broke down, as a TXT msg requires you send it to s specific Ph# that will receive it and transcribe it, txting does not work to fill out info on a web page telling them where you are and what happen
