Prudence or Paranoia?
I shut off my water to the TT every time we leave. I just don't trust the system to hold, and I certainly don't want to clean up a mess when I return. Is this unwarranted paranoia, or is it prudence? ...

I had a "blow-out" once while visiting with friends. While I was having coffee on their deck, DW came out of the 5vr, screaming about water running out of the toilet area.
The hose leading to toilet for flushing had come loose. I had some work done in that area and apparently the mechanic forgot to tighten down the clamp on the hose.
I was VERY LUCKY - it was NOT Camping World who did the repair, but a local RV shop.
After that happened, on a few occassions I did turn off the water, but rarely. That occurred 9 yrs ago.
