Water is never on unless we are using it. When using the Fresh Water Tank, the pump stays off. When on shore water, I bought a 24v NC water valve designed for in ground watering system. I bought a 24v step down transformer (on the shelf next to the valves). I put hose connections on the valve and keep it in line between the faucet and the hose to the MH. If we want water, we plug in the 24v transformer. When done, unplug it and the shore water is shut off.
I have often thought about using a 12vdc solenoid with a remote shut off (NC) valve. It's only the lazy part of me that would like that option, though!:D
