Pullrite Superglide

For those that have the Supeglide, I'm about to get one. My question is, in the event of a TV breakdown or something similar, can the trailer be towed (through roadside assistance/towing) with the proprietary Superglide capture plate?

If not, how easy/difficult is it to remove? Has anyone had experience with this scenario?

Thanks in advance! (forum search yielded no results for this)

  • Thanks to all. I'm certainly moving forward with this hitch based upon the many, many glowing owner reviews (in addition to the fact that I've yet to come across a negative one). Thanks for the insight to the many options for mounting the plate and worse case, I'm glad they make an adapter so that if I'm ever stuck, I won't truly be.

    Much appreciated.
  • . . .I think you are gonna be real happy with that setup; I sure like mine. . .

X2... With that said.. Each spring I remove and make sure they are not rusted in place just in case they need to be removed on the road....

  • We have a MorRyde hitch box and a MorRyde capture plate. While it can be removed, it would take a while. We have an adapter sold by PulRite to allow others to pull the RV.
