Have you searched on RV Trader for others in stock? Due to the bad reputation of Camping World on line, I would buy from just about any other dealer first. If you can spot a few in stock you should make a road trip to check out the dealer first. There is no more powerful negotiating technique than being there, acting like you are going to leave without purchasing. What is the exact model of the trailer that you are looking at? Maybe some of the support staff here on line will help find it at another dealer. Do you have an agreement with your local dealer to service without a hassle? 90% of trailers have something that needs fixed. Have you asked your local dealer to help you find the model at another dealer? Don't know if that works as well in the RV world as it does in the auto world.
Delivery time can be uncertain since the RV industry recovered a few years ago. The northern Indiana dealers do a lot of direct factory pickup, so you could search for a dealer around Elkhart. Then talk to them about the time to build.
