OK, so I have a new pump, but now it is making a heck of a chatter, beyond the pumping noise. I assume it is air, so how do I purge the air from the filter/lines. It doesn't seem to go away just by ru...

Open all the faucets, and run both cold and hot water. Let them run for a while. That should bleed out any air.
Check that the pump is on something cushioned, that all the lines are secured or cushioned, and not banging against each other or the wall.
A loop of flexible hose at the outlet can also help with vibration dampening.
