I was just thinking of posting about RV quality.
My wife and I looked at RV's yesterday. We have been without an RV for the past 2 summers. Our last 3 RV's were a 5th wheel, a class C and a class A in that order.
Every time I go looking at new RV's I am appalled at the poor quality. Some of the units should never have left the factory! Fit and finish is absolutely horrible. And the prices they ask for this poor quality is an insult to the buyers. Our last unit was a 2008. I think if anything, the quality has gotten even worse if that was possible.
As long as people continue to buy this junk, the manufacturers will continue to make the junk.
We need some foreign competition like the automakers experienced from the foreign cars back in the 70's and 80's and still today.
I thoroughly enjoy the RV lifestyle, but I am not sure we will ever buy another RV.
