Understood. My 2005 Ram Cummins has 136,000 miles on it and only one repair--the radiator fan clutch. My sense is that anything made by Ford, Ram or GM is as good or better than anything Japanese.
I will chime in here also.
109,000 miles on our 2005 Ram, just a water pump was the only repair.
