We have owned 4 of those critters now. Normally traded at about the 75K mileage because the piggy bank could afford it and I guess we kinda liked warranty and the new smell.
Not one of those vehicles were ever in the shop for any kind of repairs.
I tend to view 75,000 miles as just beginning to get broken in. I sure would hope that it was not in the shop for any non maintenance repairs before 75,000 miles. I have owned three Cummins Rams and they tend to break in at around 30,000 miles by picking up a mile or two per gallon and then again around 80,000 miles again picking up another mile or two. To say Toymotor had no issues in 75,000 miles really is nothing to brag about. And I got a kick out of your comment that you like the warranty protection. Does that mean you are unsure that the product is all that reliable after 75,000 miles?
Many of the early diesels from the big three have amassed 400-500,000 or more miles. Some have exceeded one million miles without the engine being taken apart. When your 'critters' get up to around 400,000+ miles and the engines are original and never been apart, I will take notice. Until then............
