Been a member long enough to see the words "goin' to Quartzite" pop up so often that it seems like I should know what folks are talking about.
In some ways it is the RV equivalent of what Sturgis is to the motorcycle fraternity. Quartzsite is usually warm, very inexpensive (like $180 for six months camping), vendors, and 200-300,000 like minded folks to have fun with. But, if you are into full hookups, concrete pads to park on, bath houses/meeting pavillions, it is not for you. The camping is basically boondocking around a town of about 3000 permanent residents.
