you are almost always better off purchasing a mattress from a small local manufacturer directly than ordering a "brand name" mattress. Just google "mattress manufacturers your area" and you should find some easily. You can usually find one to order exactly what you want and for a lot less. Also look at www.thematressunderground.com for reviews companies and different kinds. I discovered this nifty little trick because we have an antique bed with an odd size. I would never buy a mattress from a big retailer again.
