RV Queen mattress
Anyone change out their Rv mattress? What brand did you select,and how do you like it. Ours is just terrible . Thank you

- We purchased a Zinus from Amazon. We liked it so much that we replaced the king mattress on our king bed at home and also replaced the queen in our guest bedroom.
- Why not buy the same mattress you have at home in the appropriate size? Most manufacturers have a number of sizes available. That’s what we did.
- Made in Merka bed in box from Amazon.

With a 3” topper, very comfy. - We've twice added Lucid 4" ultra plush memory foam toppers to uncomfortable RV beds and both times been amazed at the results. Hard to beat for $110 for a full queen.
- Costco has a nice sotre brand memory foam. The good thing about Costco is you can return it to the store for a full refund if you don't like it.
Memory foam is great for RVs because you can easily cut it if you have a unique bed size. I have a pinched nerve, so the cheap coil mattress doesn't work for me. Cheap memory foam toppers on top of a cheap coil don't work for me either. - Get a proper mattress at a mattress store that often can make it for you. The foam stuff is fine for you in your 30's but us older types have back issues and need proper support. Also if you use your unit as home for more than 3 weeks a year your mattress becomes far more important. We are in our TT 5 1/2 to 6 months a year and believe me sleeping properly becomes important.

They carry specific sizes and will have a Queen to fit your rv space. - This is what we bought. The wife likes it, and that is what matters.

Liked it enough that I bought Zinus in twin bed size (& their metal folding frames) for out spare/grandkids’ bedroom. - We had an original, terrible mattress in our airstream, I switched it out to a Zinus from Amazon, had to cut it to size and used an electric knife, which worked awesome and mattress slept awesome.
I will be getting another one for our new to us Arctic Fox.
