So you follow the mantra to buy local so you can get local service. And 6 mo after you buy, you bring your RV to the local dealer for service and, surprise... the dealer is out of business. But didn't they tell you, promise you even, that they would remain in business for as long as you owned the rig?? They did right along with all the other bs they told you. If it is a warranty issue, you should be able to get it authorized by the factory at any reputable shop or mobile tech. And to answer your question, I've never purchased (5) from a local dealer. For the two rigs built for our full timing, there was no such thing as a local dealer since we were wandering.
