Again it is up to the agency. Many parks don't care who donates the required hours. Florida state parks and COE parks, in general.
Some require all "residents" of a camper to work. Fish and wildlife positions.
It is usually listed in the job opening announcement.
In our case, I am disabled and contribute less hours per month than my wife. Had a surgery last year and for that week I was recovering, my wife did all our hours.
Best thing to do is call the park you are interested in working at.
