We are getting ready to trade in our class C for a Sunstar class A. I ran a carfax report and it shows no warranty work or any repairs. Are they not always reported? Since we would be the third owners of a 2 year old coach, I'm guessing there must have been some kind of issues. Anyone?

Not always reported....many times Car Fax reports wrong or reports with errors in history of repairs, accidents, etc.

my understanding is that the carfax report covers only "reported" incidents. no report, no incident reported.a 2 year old coach unloaded by two owner's, run Forrest, run.bumpy

I agree . there not very good , I know from dealing on a rv that had MAJOR problems . I,d be questioning why a two yr old RV has so meny owners?? somethings not right. maybe it was a flood rv.

In an interview even the creator of Carfax admitted the reports aren't accurate. It's better to provide a buyer with the receipts/invoices for the work that has been done to your RV.

I'm a manager in a GM dealership and we traded for a 4 year old Dodge Truck that had a major accident 2 years prior too us trading for it and it had been in accident to the tune of over $15,000 and car fax nor auto check showed it when we checked it. It was a fluke the way we found out about it. It went straight to the auction after we found that out. There are a lot of omissions on both of those reports.

It's better to provide a buyer with the receipts/invoices for the work that has been done to your RV.
