A different storage location is definitely the best resolution to what appears to be certain theft. I have no idea where you or your friend live, but if it is in the country, there are always farmers that are willing to store RV's in their pole buildings. If in a city, some ware houses will store them, it may be pricey, but the damage done by thieves is going to be pricey to.
