Worse is when one side of a discussion gets moderated, shaping the entire thread towards one personally-aligned agenda. Yeah, it happens more than you might think.
Unfortunately, what that does instead of tempering a discussion is makes one side/group really angry, not just a disagreement.
Let's not call this a condemnation, rather a caution of what to avoid. I am not listing specifics because so far this thread has been respectful and could actually lead to better interaction between members and moderators, IMHO.
...as long as it doesn't turn into a big ol' bash session ;)
