To dry only, make sure you have the dry time set to something over 0 minutes. Spin the selector knob to any of the dry settings in any of the cycles. A few bathing suits should take about 30 minutes (which is the shortest time I can set mine to). Towels will take longer. Press the start button. It should start drying. It may make a sound like rushing water but that will stop right away. Hope this helps
