We're towing an '09 CRV. Using the ReadyBrake Elite towbar/brake combo. Happy with the system. No brake box to move or store.
Baseplate is a custom welded to match the MH hitch height. Installer was picked from the ReadyBrake list of dealers. Total for all including lights and install around $2500 in 2011.
Only regret is we didn't get a charge line installed. Using a battery cut-out, a minor inconvenience.
Note: recent CVT trans are not towable.
