I've used them at home for a number of years now. I have issues with the ones that have the rubber grips on them and have been replacing those with the all brass. Either the rubber grip part starts to slip, meaning you can't remove them, or the faucet bib goes in too deep on the female end stopping the male quick connect from seating correctly. No problem with the all brass setups.
The all plastic ones work but don't last very long, at least not in home use. They start to leak, probably the O ring on the male connector. I didn't try replacing the O ring. Got maybe 4 or 5 years out of them.
