Quiet and smooth riding tires

I need to buy new tires for our 2004 Fleetwood Fiesta 32s.
Our tires are original and look great but they are over ten
years old. For safety reasons we are buying tires.

Does anyone have a favorite set of tires? I am looking for
smooth riding and quiet. I would love to hear from someone
who has a strong opinion and has found what I need. Thanks

  • New tires are most always a little quieter.
I don't know if anyone provides noise numbers on rolling tires on a MH.
The Michelins we put on, the front, ride very quiet and much smoother than the GY670s. The sidewalls have a little more flex. Doesn't mean all Goodyears are noiser than others or others are noiser than the Michelins.
  • I like toyo tires. Had them on a gas and now a diesel.
  • For years in tire tests the quitest tires have been the most expensive .
    Michelin
    Highway tread .
i have a set of 265/75r16 LRE Michelin LT with 60,000 miles on a duramax .
they have stayed quiet , round , worn evenly and are not quite to the wear bars .
There are some threads on this forum about Michelins .
    other owners report similar
Other top tires are also expensive : Continental and Bridgestone .
I have to keep my rig longer to have a lower cost per mile .
If I was planning to sell I would buy the cheaper tires .
  • IMO, a quiet tire is dangerous when the roadway is wet or icy.
I would rather put up with a little tire noise and have excellent traction.
The motorhome, truck, and Jeep all have M&S traction tires.
I have had good luck with Cooper and Kumho tires.
  • We've had good luck with Hankook (replaced original tires in 2007), and are now going with a Cooper tire (1/2 the cost of Michelin or Goodyear). My personal opinion is to go with a less expensive tire, but it all depends on your wallet.
