What kind of hours do you like? I would like to see graduated hours. 10:00 PM all electronic entertainment and/or musical instruments off. 10:00 to 1:00, quiet conversation ok. 1:00 to 6:00...

Fires out too? You're a joy to camp near to be sure
A bit judgmental aren't we? Apparently you missed my other post where I stated because I am a light sleeper I take the onus upon myself to close up if the campground is noisy. That said, my reasoning is this: campfires are often what keep people up. People up late are a good portion of noise that carries into quiet hours. Take away the root cause and the majority of the problem is resolved. It's communal living-everyone must be willing to give and take. I am not "campground police" unless the behavior is dangerous to others. I fully understand camping is not going to be like home, where right now the danged crickets are so loud I want a 55 gallon drum of DDT. I'm a very social person and guess what? Most people actually like me. Asking for a little give and take doesn't make me a horrible person.
