We have lived 11 places - 9 while working and 2 after retirement - and have also visited the OR Coast 5 times (including a month there in Aug / Sept) and Tucson area is the best place to be - no more 20 below zero, no more shoveling snow, no more living in a raincoat and boots, etc!
But we are in the Sonoran Desert at 3000 feet and mountains all around - very nice and very beautiful.
But, Pogoil, I will tell you this. When we win the lottery one of the first things we will do is buy a second place on the northern OR Coast. But someone told me I have to buy a ticket .................. :-)
